Al Ain, UAE – Following the successful opening of The Saturday Market at Al Ain Oasis, The Department of Culture & Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) provides an opportunity for individuals to support local farms, people of determination and small businesses through a weekly Farmers’ Market. Held at the stunning UNESCO World Heritage site of Al Ain Oasis, the Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday from 3pm to midnight until 25 March 2023.

The Saturday Market offers a vibrant array of locally grown produce, including fresh fruits and vegetables, honey, and dairy products sourced from the finest local cultivation. Guests can also purchase fresh tilapia fish caught by local fishermen.

Several of the participating farms, including Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Abdullah Al Bloshi, Khalid Al Neyadi, and Hesa Al Blooshi, are part of Abu Dhabi Agricultural Club and People of Determination Organic Farms.

This market is more than just a place to buy fresh produce. It’s a community gathering spot where farmers and patrons can connect and celebrate the beauty of locally sourced food. And with the addition of The Lime Farm and other local farms, there’s never been a better time to visit and support this burgeoning community.

The Al Ain Farmers Market is an ideal destination for families to spend a pleasant day out while also supporting the local economy. It also offers a vast array of delectable handmade goods from local artisans.

Visitors can witness the breathtaking views of the Al Ain Oasis, with its lush greenery and serene atmosphere, and indulge in a memorable meal with locally sourced goods, paired with a delightful shopping experience.

Open from 3pm to midnight, entrance to The Saturday Market Al Ain Oasis is AED 10 for children ages 3 to 11 and AED 20 for visitors aged 12 and up. Children aged 2 and under, as well as People of Determination, enter free of charge.
