South Korea and Pakistan to Collaborate in Agriculture Tech

South Korea and Pakistan intend to collaborate in the field of agriculture technology transfer. This joint effort, facilitated by the Korea Programme on International Agriculture (KOPIA) and Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), covers various aspects such as certified seed potato production and aeroponic greenhouses.

The focus on certified seed potato production, particularly through the construction of aeroponic greenhouses, is a significant step towards enhancing agricultural productivity in Pakistan. Aeroponic greenhouses provide a controlled environment for plant growth, optimizing conditions for the production of high-quality seeds.

The commitment to building additional greenhouses under the Pakistan-Korea Joint Programme on Certified Potato Seed Production System demonstrates a sustained effort to scale up production and meet the demand for certified seed potatoes in Pakistan. This not only addresses local agricultural needs but also contributes to food security and economic development.
